Comments: What a beautiful dog! (Lucy) We are researching hairless
dogs. Our 17 yr. old son is very allergic. He BADLY wants a dog! As a mom,
I want that to happen for him...but if the truth were known...we want one
too. I have been looking at the Chinese Crested. Thinking on those too! Want
to make a smart decision plus money IS a factor. Some of these dogs are
$600-$2000. Thats just too steep for our budget. How much are the terriers?
They sound like a great family dog. We are a loving family but will soon
be experiencing the 'empty nest'. Mom and dad need another 'kid' to spoil!!
We would not object to a 'rescued' dog either. Are there Hairless Terrier
Rescues? Thanks for any help you can give.

the pictures of Lucy. I have 2 chihuahua's, and have done rescue for this
breed since l985. I don't breed or show the dogs i have had, i just give
them a safe and loving home . This looks like an idea dog for my 21 yr old
son, he has asthma, loves animals but has a hard time being around the fur
they have. i will keep this web site in my favorites. amy

Comments: What a beautiful and interesting breed. I am a current
owner and lover of the Xoloitzcuintli. Chance is my three year old Xolo.
He is a cherished member of our family and I think a beautiful dog. I accuired
him from a very interesting woman in California and agreed not to neuter
him for a time. He is a chocolate brown with an orange-yellow fuzz on his
head. Maybe in the future I will be able to figure out how to send a photo.
I hope to hear from you as I find hairless breeds very interesting- I too
am allergic to dogs!!!

Comments: Thank you for the wonderful site! I have an incredible
xolo that I rescued from a shelter. Additionally, a friend of mine (at my
instigation) rescued an Inca Hairless from a shelter about 15 miles from
the one where I found Ellie (my xolo). Makes you wonder what is going on
in Houston Tx., doesn't it? This is the first I have heard of the AHT- they
sound wonderful, though I can't bring myself to buy a dog- I have to rescue
everything! If I ever find one that needs rescuing though, you can be sure
I will stand in line! Thanks for the great information!

Comments: HI- I'VE SPENT SEVERAL HOURS TRYING TO GET INFO ON THE
AHT-- I SAW A STORY IN A MAGAZINE AND BECAME INTERESTED. I AM NOT LOOKING
FOR A SHOW DOG--JUST A BABY TO LOVE. CAN'T FIND OUT HOW MUCH THESE DOGS COST
AND WHERE TO FIND THEM IN MY AREA. I LIVE IN WESTERN SUBURBS OF CHICAGO.
I VISITED MANY WEB SIGHTS BUT THIS INFO WAS NOT GIVEN. IF YOU CAN GIVE ME
SOME IDEAS I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE IT. I NOW HAVE A FEMALE CHIHUAHUA THAT
I LOVE VERY MUCH . I THINK THE AHT IS ADORABLE AND WOULD LIKE TO FIND ONE
TO ADD TO MY FAMILY. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME. TRINA

Comments: Hello, I fell upon your page from the hairless dog web
ring, and I am so happy I did! I would never have gone looking for AHT's
but they are so beautiful!! Lucy is adorable!!! You are quite obviously a
computer expert, as your page is so professional, and so easy to navigate
around. I came for the web ring, and just stayed for ages and ages, and it
is so kind so give so many links to other hairless dog sites, as I always
been curious about other hairless breeds. I hope that my new page can someday
be half as good as yours. Thank you again Nikki in UK

Comments: I have asthma and am very allergic to most dogs. We had
a rabbit for a few years and she didn't bother me at all. Do you have any
info. on dogs that have fur like rabbits? I don't understand why the rabbit
didn't bother me at all, especially since she shed all the time. Is their
dander that different?

Comments: I have been doing research on dogs that won't bother my
allergies, and the first web page I came across was yours. It is very
informative, and Lucy is so adorable that I fell in love with AHT's! I have
contacted a few breeders who might have pups available over the summer (perfect
timing for me) but only males. I really want a female AHT, but they seem
to be hard to get plus I was quoted the price of $1500-2000. That's too high
for me. Where and how were you able to get a female for $500? In your opinion
what are the differences between females/males? Do pet quality AHT's have
many health problems. Thanks for the wonderful website!
