Allergy Studies

related to human pet allergies

 bulletRead these first

Read the Allergic to Dogs? and Dog Breeds for Allergy Sufferers pages first. They contain lots of information about human pet allergies, tips on controlling animal dander in the house, pet allergy discussion board, and information about "low dander" dog breeds that generally do well with mild pet allergy sufferers. However, people's pet allergies vary greatly, and there is no dog breed that is truly non-allergenic!

 bulletAllergy studies

I have collected some links to The Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology online abstracts and full text articles. The Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology is the official publication of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology. Abstracts are free to read online, and many of the full size articles as well. Be patient, the journal site pages may be slow to load.

If you are interested, you can also subscribe to the magazine with online access. It is geared for allergists and other physicians dealing with with clinical manifestations of allergies in their practice.

To search the magazine for pet related articles, go to here. Be patient, that page may be slow.
